Belle Butters, LLC was derived when I decided I needed to supplement my income. After being complimented and asked about my hair, I decided that as a natural I wanted to share what I was using with others. I have been natural now for almost three years and in just that short period of time I have learned so much about natural hair that I never knew before. With this knowledge and lack of income (insert giggle here), I decided to challenge myself. I wanted to complete a goal and so I set one in mind and that was to start my own business.

In November of 2009, I decided that I would give myself one month to get things together. If I did not reach that goal in one month, well, I would've been disappointed and luckily it never got to that. I opened up shop two days before the end of my 30 day goal. Belle Butters, LLC was my brain-child that turned into a reality. Immediately after whipping up my first batch of butters, I began making improvements to my recipes and my methods. Being a perfectionist has it's pros and cons of course, but I wanted to make sure I was offering a product that would reach beyond my own personal standards.

I have accomplished so much and I am humble. I thank each and every supporter and customer that I have had come my way thus far. I thank God for allowing me to bring this idea into fruition and giving me my new-found strength and faith in patience. Patience has been the most important factor of this venture and it used to be something I was very short of. ;o) I pray that I am able to continue on my journey as long as God wills it so.
