Important: Changes To Shea Butter

Dear Belle Butters Customers,

My supplier has been having some trouble finding good quality yellow shea. As you know, yellow shea is shea butter that has been dyed yellow using palm oil. The yellow shea butter my supplier had purchased was no good and had to be tossed out. My supplier contacted me to let me know that the off-white (natural color of shea butter), was available and that I would be receiving that instead of the yellow.

Using the yellow shea butter was a personal preference, however, it was not a permanent decision as to which shea butter I would offer or sell. The difference between the two is simply the palm oil. The efficacy and consistency of the shea butter is the same. You will still receive the same quality shea butter as you have had before (if you are ordering again).

I have provided some pictures of the off-white shea butter that I whipped up a few days ago. As you can see it is still creamy and the only difference is the color. I have not added to or changed any of my ingredients. All of that remains the same.

I apologize if this is any inconvenience to you all. If you have any questions or comments, please leave them in the comment section of this post or email me at bellebutters@gmail.com

I appreciate your business,

Tasha
